Introduction

I am completely new to this whole blogging thing...but I have enjoyed reading everyone's blogs so much that I thought I would give it a whirl.  Bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of blogging, and I hope it gets easier as time goes on.

I am from Small Town, Minnesota, recently married to Mr. Man, who is the other half to my heart.  I have 3 beautiful children from previous relationships... #1 Son and #2 Son, whose father lives in Chihuahua, Mexico, and Bug, whose father is my ex husband, and still lives close enough to give us more than our share of grief.  Mr. Man is from Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, but he has been here in the US for almost 10 years.

Right now in our lives, we are struggling to overcome (I would settle for coexistance) ADHD and ODD that afflicts both of my sons, as well as trying to balance the benefits of being a 2 income household with the fact that I do not get to sleep in bed with my husband 6 nights out of 7 (I work graveyard shifts).  The question that currently runs through my head is "is it worth it?".  We shall see in the coming weeks how that one works out.

All 3 children are in school now... the boys are in 5th and 4th grades, and Bug is a very excited kindergartener.  We are halfway through the second week, and things seem to be going OK.

Mr. Man is a musician, and avid fan of Sergio Vega el Shaka.  He works at a dairy farm and, as he puts it, "does everything except signing the paychecks."  He is currently undocumented, so we will be wading our way through that bunch of red tape shortly, but for now, we are content to just let life happen one day at a time.  We both have decent jobs, and are really not in a hurry to spend the money and endure the separation that will come with trying to adjust his status to that of a permanent resident, so now we walk on eggshells on the fringe of a society that has no clue.

We love each other and God and our children very much.  Welcome to our lives!
